Meta Rolls Out Video Updates For Facebook

Meta has announced it’s rolling out a suite of updates designed to improve the video experience on Facebook. The enhancements include:

  • Reels Integration: Facebook users no longer need to swap to Instagram to view Reels. They can now be accessed directly from the Facebook app.
  • A Dedicated Video Tab: Facebook Watch has been rebranded as the Video tab. It now combines all video content, including Reels, live streams, and traditional videos. 
  • An Improved Explore Feature: The Explore feature will now use both an algorithm and human editors to recommend videos to Facebook users.

These updates are unlikely to be the last. In its statement, Meta said, “This is just the beginning. We’ll continue developing more tools for creators so they can express themselves.”
